Delete your NEXRYDE account

NEXRYDE — Ride Smart. Ride Safe. (com.nexryde.app). You can delete your account and personal data at any time, either inside the app or by using the form on this page.

Delete from inside the app

  1. Open NEXRYDE and sign in.
  2. Go to Profile → Settings.
  3. Tap Delete account and confirm.

Use the email address registered on your NEXRYDE account so we can identify it.

We remove your account and personal data within 30 days of the request. You will lose access to your ride history, wallet balance, promotions and saved places.

What is deleted and what is kept

DeletedName, email, phone number, profile photo, NIN details, saved places, emergency contacts, device and push tokens, chat messages, ratings you gave, referral data.
Kept for a limited periodTrip and payment records required by Nigerian tax, accounting and anti-fraud law, and any records involved in an open safety investigation or dispute. These are retained for up to 7 years in a restricted form and are not used to contact you.
Retention windowAccount and personal data: removed within 30 days of your request.
